Team building, Ice Breaker and BIG NEWS about one of our own!!!

Happy Sunday everyone! One week from today we start activities for the 2015-2016 Show Choir Season!!! We are so excited to get rolling with the new groups!

Sunday afternoon we have Team Building for Northern Lights and Starlights. The Starlights Team Building will be from 2:00 to 4:00 at the High School. Northern Lights will have their team building from 4:00 to 6:00 at the High School. Please make sure you are wearing tennis shoes during your team building time and bring a water bottle with you as we are doing most activities outside. There was a post made on the MMPA Facebook page yesterday about some donations we need for the Team Building. If you are able to donate any of these items, please email Mr. Davis at by Wednesday. Thanks for the help!!!

1. Climbing Rope or Tug a War Rope – At least 25 feet
2. 4×4 boards – 1 4 foot and 1 6 foot
3. 1 Yard Blankets or small tarps – like something you would use for a picnic (the students will be standing on this, so it does not have to be nice)

Following Team Building, we will move head over to the Rayburn’s for our Annual Icebreaker Event. If you are in the 2015-2016 Northern Lights, Starlights, Northern Lights Orchestra or Light Works Crew, you are invited to attend 🙂 Please feel free to bring to your swim suits and towels as we will have some time to enjoy ourselves. The Ice Breaker starts at 6:30, but you are welcome to come earlier to swim before the meeting. The following are the assigned dishes that you are to bring with you to pass:

  • Seniors – Drinks

  • Juniors – Dessert

  • Sophomore’s – Side Dish

  • Directors – Utensils

The Rayburn’s address is 60650 County Road 21 Goshen, Indiana. We can not wait to see you there!!!

A HUGE Shout out to our Miss Outstanding Teen of Elkhart County Alyssa Hochstetler for her great job at the Indiana Miss Outstanding Teen Pageant last week.  Alyssa received 3rd Runner-Up out of the 29 Teens Competing. She also came home with the Preliminary Talent Award, the Teen Academic Award, the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Medal, and The Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals’ “Miracle Maker” Award.

Be sure to congratulate Alyssa on her great success 🙂 We are all proud of her!!!
